SENIOR TRAFFIC & TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client is a leading international engineering consultancy,
offering civil and structural engineering design and consultancy,
project management and construction related H&S consultancy to leading
Building & Property Development companies.
You will plan and manage the execution of traffic and transportation
work in property development projects including medium and large-scale
residential and mixed-use development, urban renewal, business and
industrial parks, schools, offices, retail development, and
infrastructure schemes
The role will include transport feasibility studies, traffic and
transportation impact assessments, road and active travel appraisals,
junction and road capacity assessments, parking and cycle assessments,
sustainable travel planning, traffic forecasting, construction traffic
management planning, public realm improvements and providing traffic
and transportation-related consultancy generally.
REQUIREMENTS
Level 8 qualification in Civil or Transportation Engineering
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent technical and communication skills.
Experienced industry standard traffic modelling software including
LinSig, TRANSYST, Arcady, Picady, Oscady
detailed knowledge of all applicable standards and guidelines in
Ireland.
Experience in road safety assessment,
DMURS compliance assessment and in advising designers on road and
junction safety matters would be beneficial but is not essential.
